Duplicate of a slave sale for the redemption of debts: C has voluntarily (ina hūd libbišu) sold his two slaves (amīlūtu), the bakers (nuhatimmu) D1 and D2, to fB, his wife, for 2 minas of silver. C guarantees (pūtu našû) against transgressors (sēhû) and claimants (pāqirānu) – the two bakers are neither of the status of royal servants (arad šarrūti) nor of the status free persons (mār banûti) nor “new break (hēpu)” in text. Out of the sum of 2 minas of silver, 56 shekels are used to pay A. 2 witnesses and the scribe. The text is linked to the loan document BM74962.
