Paraphrase | Land and house rental. A rents arable land and houses, which are upstream (elēnu) from the Surra canal in the district (pīhatu) of Babylon, to B, in all likelihood for seven years Excluded are the houses located next to the sons of D1 and the sons of D2, which are (already) at the disposal of C1 and(?)(*) C2. The renter will perform maintenance work (bīt epšetu) and give the houses back (uššuru) to A at the end of the year. As for the arable land, he will fence (lamû) 0;1 sq. kor (2700 m2) of land and plant fruit trees (gapnu) and date palms. At the end of the seventh year, the property will go back to A (partly reconstructed). The parties to the contract have taken one copy of the document each.
