- Promissory oath. Undertaking to pay off debts.
A swears (tamû) by Bēl, Nabû and king Darius to B: "I will deliver (nadānu) to B up to (adi) the 12th day of Arahsamna (VIII) B’s 0;3.2 kor of dates at my disposal." If A fails to meet the deadline, he will pay B on the 5th day of the month (broken) 4 shekels of silver. Names of 4 witnesses and the scribe. A 5th witness is added at the very end of the document, after the place and date of issue.
