Paraphrase | Promissory note for dates, barley, silver and onions. Pledge of estate. B owes 44;4.0.0 kor of dates, 2;3.2.0 kor of barley, 5 1/2 shekels of silver (and) 13 bundles (pītu) of onions to A, slave of C. The full amount (gamru) of dates is due in Tašrīt (VII) of the 5th year and should be delivered in one payment according to the 36 liters measure at the Borsippa canal; the silver and onions are due in Nisan (I); and the barley is due in Ayyār (II) and the full amount (gamru) should be delivered in one payment. The debtor's pledged two plots of land to the creditor in the past and these remain pledged. It concerns a field (eqlu) planted with date palms (bīt gišimmarē) located at the Borsippa canal, (and) the ... [broken off] planted with date palms (bīt gišimmarē zaqpu) and grain (pî šulpi) that extends to the village .... [broken off] and is probably next to the fields of the the temples of Bēl and Nabû. No other creditor shall exercise any rights over the pledged property until the creditor has received the full repayment of his silver. In addition, there is a previous claim by the same creditor for 80 kor of dates (and) a broken amount of silver that is related to an exchange deal (šupêltu).
