A rents (ana sūtu nadānu) 3 Kor (40500 m2) of newly cleared land (zēru taptû), from the upper dam (pariktu) [...] on the Banītu Canal to the lower border (miṣru) [...] of D, to B (C’s slave), for a number of years which is lost in a lacuna of the tablet. The renter will give him 7 Kor (1260 l) of barley (uṭṭatu) per year, as well as an unknown amount of bunches of straw (makṣaru ša tibni), in one instalment. Whoever breaks the contract shall pay 1 mina of silver. The renter will deliver to the landlord one mutton (UDU.NITA) of good quality. The parties to the contract have taken one copy of the document each. Names of 6 witnesses and the scribe.
