Archive description
The main figure in this group of four tablets is Lâbâši/Balāṭu, the rab umma. Two were found on Inghara, one on Mound W (17 Xer-13 Art I). There are no title deeds among the tablets.
Lâbâši owned extensive estates managed by his slaves through a hierarchy of “farms”. One of these slaves, Šulum-Bābili, is mentioned several times.
