Paraphrase Purchase of a house: A purchases from B a house for 1 1/3 mina 3 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu), together with an additional payment (atru) of 1 KUR.RA garment as well as 22? containers with a capacity measure of 3 seahs (ṣimdu) of barley for the temples. The plot of land is located in Ur; further details about its general location are not preserved. Its upper side (in the south) borders on the property of A and its lower side (in the north) as well as the upper front (in the east) on the properties of C. Its lower front (in the west) borders on a blind alley (biriti lā aṣîti). Its lower side measures 13(+) cubits (6.5 m), its upper front 19 cubits (9.5 m) and its lower front 21 cubits (10.5 m). The length of the upper side is not preserved. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina ušuzzi) the governor (šākin) of Ur (Ningal-iddin). 9+ witnesses.
