Paraphrase Receipt of silver from a slave of the Egibi family by the messenger of a deputy. For the rations of a group of workmen. On account of a bow-fief.
A, messenger (mār šipri) of E, the deputy (šanû) , receives (eṭēru) 1/3 mina of medium quality silver, of which 1/8 is alloy, from B1, slave of D, and B2. They pay on behalf of (ana muhhi) C, as the silver is due from his bow-land (qaštu) in order to pay for the rations (kurummatu) of the zargaya-(work)men (za-ar-ga-a-a [zargaya]) in Darius’ 15th year.
