Paraphrase Dissolution of a joint venture because of death: After the death of A1, father of A2, A2 and B1 together draw up and divide the accounts (nikkassu epēšu zâzu) from the business partnership (harrānu) concerning the capital 5 minas of silver and 190 empty vats invested by A1 and 5 minas of silver and 90 empty vats invested by B1. The business partnership is over – no binding remains. A2 receives in full (mahāru eṭēru) from B1 the 5 minas, with profit (utru), and 190 vats. B1 has taken over the obligation (ana muhhi e’ēlu) of the debt according to the promissory notes (u’iltu) due from (ina muhhi) C1 and C2 respectively. The house received from D and the promissory note concerning 30 kor (5,400 l) of barley, the remainder (rēhtu) of the promissory note concerning 3 minas of silver due from C3, belong to the business partnership between A2 and B2. 3 witnesses and the scribe. Each party has taken a copy.
