Paraphrase | Sale of slaves A, of his own free will, sells his young female slaves fC1 and fC2 to B. The total purchase price amounts to 4 minas of medium quality silver, of which 1/8 is alloy. The seller aknowledges that he has received the entire sum from the buyer. D guarantees against (suits brought by) a person acting unlawfully (sēhû) or a person claiming (pāqirānu) that fC1 and fC2, who belong to A's household (nīšū bīti), are royal slaves (arad šarrūtu) or free persons (mār banê) – claims that should not arise about these two female slaves.
