Paraphrase | List cattle put at the disposal one individual from the fold of another. Dated. A has at his disposal (ina pāni) the following cattle heads (áb.gu4.ḫi.a) from the fold (qabuttu) of B: 1 ram (puḫālu), 30 ewes (laḫru), 19 three-year (3-ú-a-ti) old cows (littu), 4 three-year (3-ú) old bulls,* 17 two-year (2-ú-a-ti) old cows, x two-year (2-ú) old bulls,* x female calves (sāḫirtu), and 6 male calves (būru); total of 120 cattle heads.
* both the three- and the two-year old bulls are mistakenly written as cows (littu, wr. áb). The context and the masculine form that follow make it clear that bulls are indeed being meant.
A= Bibēa/Aḫu-iddin; B= Balāssu |
