Paraphrase | Tabulated list of workmen and their supervisors (decuries). Fragmentary. The tablet records in 2 columns with gridlines no less than 36 men, listed with their names but without affiliations, grouped according to different work gangs (although the word ṣābu is not explicitly written) counting 10 men each. At the end of each group, the partial total and the names of the supervisors are given. The various groups are separated from each other by a LINE. The final total was possibly given on the lower edge, but the tablet is broken. On the basis of the onomastics, Gehlken suggests identifying the mentioned individuals with herdsmen. |
