Paraphrase | List of barley (or dates) disbursements to prebendaries. Fragmentary. The tablet is in a poor state of preservation, with most of the left hand side broken off. The first 6 lines served to introduce the content of the text, i.e. a list of products (likely barley or dates) issued by (nadānu, wr. SUM-nu) the Eanna to its bakers (nuhatimmu, reconstructed) via A, as prebendary payment (maššartu) for a period of 4 months – from Addar (XII) to Simān (III), in Nebuchadnezzar’s reign (year broken). After a horizontal line, the text, organised in 2 columns without gridlines, lists on the left-hand side the amounts, and on the right-hand side the names of the recipients. The last line provided a total, now lost, reckoned in measures (mašīhu). A = Nabû-šumu-ukīn |
