Summons to end a case
In this fragmentary document, A swears that by an unknown day of Intercalary Ulūl (VI2) he will come (alāku) and bring to an end (qatû D) his case (dibbu) with fB about silver and barley. Should he not come, he will pay the 6 shekels of silver (that he owes) to fB, without (ša lā) [… uncl.). He will return (târu) everything that he has […] from the hands of fB [...]. fC guarantees for the (re)payment (eṭēru) of the silver and barley. Names of 2 witnesses and the scribe: Marduk-ušallim/Erîba-Marduk//Mandidi.
