Dialogue document: exchange between Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī, bishop (šatammu) of Eanna, and Nabû-aḫu-iddin, royal representative (ša rēš šarri) and commissioner (bēl piqitti) of Eanna, and Gimillu/Innin-šumu-ibni, temple oblate (širku). The temple officials inform Gimillu that he is to ask Gubāru, governor (paḫātu) of Babylon and Transeuphrates, about the responsibilities of the oblates which he and Adad-šarru-uṣur, musaḫḫiru and commissioner (bēl piqitti) of Gubāru, had put at their disposal on Gubāru’s orders. Gimillu answers that he had received no instructions from Gubāru and that the oblates were to do whatever work was required from them until new instructions were received; in any case Gimillu would be responsible for any of them who might flee, having had their shackles removed by him. This exchange is witnessed by Nabû-šarru-uṣur, royal courtier (ša rēš šarri) and overseer of the temples (ša muḫḫi bītāti), and Silim-ili, royal courtier (ša rēš šarri) and overseer of the royal cashbox in Eanna (ša muḫḫi quppi ša šarri ina Eanna). Five further witnesses and Arad-Marduk/Marduk-šumu-iddin//Bēl-aplu-uṣur, the scribe.
