Paraphrase | Court judgement regarding a house owned by Eanna. The house in question, placed between the houses of Qištiya/Ištar-zēru-ušabši//Šamašiya and Anu-uballiṭ/Bēl-ibni, had been pledged to Bēl-aḫḫē-iqīsa/Nabû-bēlšunu//Sîn-tabni by Rēmūtu/Arad-Nanāya. As it is temple property, Bēl-aḫḫē-iqīsa cannot take it as a pledge and must return it to the temple, but he can ask Rēmūtu for restitution. Four witnesses and the scribe, Gimillu/Innin-zēru-iddin. |
