The tablet details amounts of gold given by the Eanna temple to A (although the text does not record actual transfer). The first part details the three sources of the gold and the second part refers to actual amount given to A. The numbers do not add up, but it seems that this is not a scribal calculation error. The text acknowledges this discrepancy.

2 mina 12½ shekels (≈ 1.1 kg) of gold are the working stock (hāṭu).

This comprised (ina libbi) from the following: 1 mina 58 shekels (from the smelting? of) the makkasu-bowl that came (arādu) from the cella (bīt papāhu), 11 shekels are (from) the general income (irbu) of Addar (XII) and 3½ shekels are (from) storage(?)* (kal-za-a-ta).

(However, only) 2 minas 11¼ shekels (≈ 1.09 kg) of gold, according to the proper weight (abnu kittu, lit. true stone weight) and the bronze-lion (nēšu) (weight), are at the disposal (ina pāni) of A for (fashioning/repairing) the makkasu-bowl of (the goddess) Bēltia.

* Translation of kal-za-a-ta is uncertain, see Payne 2007 (PhD diss.), 65.

A= Bēl-ibni/Nabû-zēru-ibni (//Nappāhu), known blacksmith, see Payne 2007 (PhD diss.), 300f.
