Paraphrase
Promissory note for silver: B owes [A1] and A2 1 ½ [minas of silver], for which B’s brewer’s prebend before [Šamaš] in Abu, 12 ½ days of service in the Ebabbar in Sippar, is recorded as a security. B cannot take advantage of any income deriving from this prebend, nor can A1 and A2 claim interests on it. No-one can take over this debt, until the two creditors will be paid in full. A clause excluding 20 barrels of beer of A1 that are at B’s disposal ends the operative section. 5 witnesses and the scribe: Nabû-etel-ilāni/Itti-Bēl-lummir//Šangû-Šamaš).
