Purchase of prebend (copy of damaged original): B sells to A his butcher’s prebend for the 8th and 28th day of every month, for 5 minas of white cut silver in pieces (šibirtu) of 1/8 alloy. The income of the prebend comprises beef, mutton, bird and lamb of the regular offerings of the days of the [...] of the gate, of the šešannu-feasts, and the sacrificial sheep of the king and of the ordinary worshippers (kāribu).
