As soon as the slave C (qallu) will have left from (or: turn up in) (elû Gt, Perf. i-te-la-a) A’s house, A will give a daily compensation payment (mandattu) amounting to 0;0.1 kor (c. 6 l) of barley to the slave's master (B). Otherwise, C will return and hand over to B (târu D – nadānu) a document (u’iltu) in which it is stated that he took A as a pledge (maškanu ṣabātu), or that he has purchased him for the corresponding exact price (šīm hariṣ). Names of 2 witnesses and the scribe: Arad-Illat/Marduk-šarrāni//Nannāya.
