Paraphrase Purchase of land: A purchases 0;0.0.2 square kor (150 m2) arable land (zēru) for 3 ¾ shekels of white silver (kaspu peṣû) from B. The sold land is located within the (area of the) Old Canal (nāru labīru) at the Oven Gate (bāb kīri) and belongs to the ḫanšû-land of C. Its upper side, its lower side and its upper front border on (property already owned by) the buyer. Its upper front borders on (the property of) D. The transaction is concluded before (ana mahar) the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Borsippa (Nabû-zēru-līšir//Arkāt-ilāni-damqāti) and the bishop (šatammu) of Ezida (Zēr-Bābili//Nūr-Papsukkal). 5 witnesses (including Nabû-ahhē-iddin, another member of the Ilūtu-bāni Family and Mār-bīti-ili, another member of the Arkāt-ilāni-damqāti Family) and the scribe, also identified as the writer of the sealed tablet (šāṭir kunukki). Instead of a seal impression (kunukku), fingernail impression (ṣupru) of B.
