Paraphrase | Promissory note for onions. B owes 3000 strings (gidlu) of onions to A, slave of C, to be delivered in Ayyār (II). Delivery is due on the creditor's plot of land (or: house) (bītu) in the area between the canals (birīt nārāti). He should make the onions pass the harbour (etēqu Š), i.e. by paying for the harbour customs. Names of 3 witnesses and the scribe: Gimillu/Nabû-šumu-līšir//Malultu. A = Nergal-rēṣūa, slave of Iddin-Marduk/Iqīšāya//Nūr-Sîn; B = Nabû-šumu-ukīn/Nabû-bēlšunu//Lā-kuppuru; C = Iddin-Marduk/Iqīšāya//Nūr-Sîn |
