Paraphrase Sale of a boat to the head of the Egibi family and receipt of the purchase price.
A sells his boat to B for 4 minas and 10 shekels of unmarked silver, of which 1/8 is alloy, ša halla iṣṣur*. The seller assumes warranty for the uškûtu of his boat. He receives payment (eṭēru) for the purchase price (šīmu), namely the agreed upon amount of 4 minas and 10 shekels, from the buyer. The boat is a cargo-boat (rukubbu), 6 ½ cubīts wide at its beam (šaburru), with a keel? (šubat mê) of 20 cubīts, covered (kuttummu) with mats (šû), and loaded (elû Š) with cress!? (sahlû).** Names of 5 witnesses and the scribe.

*The meaning of the latter idiom is unknown (cf. CAD H, 43 s.v. halla).
**Ll. 1f. describes the boat as follows: eleppu šá 6 ½ KÙŠ ina muh-hi šá-bur-ru / rap-šú 20 ina 1 KÙŠ šu-bat me-e-šú; and ll. 21f. eleppu ku-tu-ut-musu-ú ru-kub-bi ? [(x)] / šá-ha-li-e šu?┐-lu-ú.
