Paraphrase Receipt of ilku-silver by the head of the Egibi family. Payment on account of a bow-fief.
A receives payment (mahāru) for the ilku-tax from Nisan (I) of the 25th year till the end of Addar (XII) of the 25th year of Darius, that is due on account of the bow-land (qaštu) of C and ṭi-pa-ni-šú*. A receives it from B, C’s brother. The amount paid is 2/3 minas of medium quality silver, of which 1/8 is alloy. This silver has been given** to D, clerk (sepīru) of the courtiers (ša rēši) who are appointed over the administration of the rations of the New Palace. The register (giṭṭu) is with him. The parties to the contract have taken one copy of the document each. Names of 3 witnesses and the scribe.

*"on account of C's bow-land and its additions" / "on account of the bow-land of C" and his additional men (cf. BM30261).
** l. 10: A verb like SUM-nu (nadnu “has been given”) may be expected at the end of the line, but is, unfortunately, broken off.
