Paraphrase | Promissory note for dates. Payment for a debt. B1 and B2 owe 75 kor of dates to A, to be delivered in full in one instalment according to the creditor’s measure in Tašrīt (VII) of Cambyses’ 6th year at the Ṭubašu-canal. The two debtors assume warranty for each other. The document continues by referring to a payment in silver (made by A on behalf of the debtors) to C, who is appointed over (ša muhhi ) the (yoke-) teams (ṣindu), for the(ir) obligation to provide military equipment (rikis qabli) in Cambyses' 5th year. In addition, there is an earlier claim (rašûtu) against the same debtors for which their land in Bīt-Ṭabi and (their slave) D have been taken as pledged. Witnesses.
