Nobody is allowed to open (petû)(*) without the creditor's permission (ša lā) his [broken off], which is in the debtor’s house behind sealed doors (ša ina bīt PN [(ša)] ana muhhi pehû bābi). Witnesses. (*) L. 12: In all likelihood a second verb follows the verb "not to open". A = Marduk-nāṣir-apli/Itti-Marduk-balāṭu//Egibi; B=Šamaš-ina-tēšê-ēṭir/Šamaš-iddin//Šamaš-abārī |
