Promissory note for silver: B owes to A ½ mina of silver of 1/8 alloy. The debt bears a yearly interest of 12 shekels per mina. B’s property in town and country are A’s security and no other creditor is to have disposal over it. B is to pay [the interest] monthly. The silver is at B’s disoposal from the 1st of Kislīmu (IX). Dated to the 1st year of Cambyses, king of Babylon, while Cyrus was king of all the lands. 3 witnesses, 1 ina ašābi-witness, B’s wife, and [the scribe] (Nabû-zēr-iddin/Nabû-ušallim//Irˀanni).
