Establishment of a joint venture: A1 and A2 jointly invest in a business partnership (ana harrāni šakānu). Each of them gives 5 minas of scrap silver with stamp-mark (kaspu qallalu ša ginni), income (erbu) of the cashbox (arannu). In addition, A1 gives 180 old empty vats and 10 new vats, and A2 80 old empty vats and 10 new vats. Whatever A2 will make from (ina muhhi) the sum of the invested capital (curiously 270 instead of 280 vats are summed up), they will enjoy an equal share (ahātu) in the profit (utru). This contract does not include (elat) the house which B invested in the same business. The domestic staff (nišē bīti) of A2 will be in the service (našpartu alāku) for the venture. The wife and daughters as well as the slaves of A2 will enjoy (akālu, ik-ka-ri!) rations (kurummatu) from the venture. 2 witnesses (including Nergal-šumu-iddin/Iqīša//Ṣāhit-ginê) and the scribe.
