Paraphrase Promissory note for silver. Pledge of slave.
B1 and fB2, his wife owe 15 ¾ shekels of silver to A, to be paid on the 15th of Abu (V). The payment is secured by the pledge of the B1's slave (fC). No other creditor shall exercise any rights over the pledged slave until A has received the full repayment of his debt. The silver that B1 and fB2 pay as rent for the house, is within the house. Witnesses.
