A, of his own free will, sells his slave C to B, for an agreed purchase price amounting to 1 mina of silver. fD, A’s wife, guarantees against (suits brought by) a person acting unlawfully (sēhû) or a person claiming (pāqirānu) that the slave! (the text has “slaves”) is a palace servant (arad ekalli) or a free person (mār banê). A's debt to B (rāšû ša muhhi A) has been settled (ana eṭēri nadnu) with the silver from the sale.
