Paraphrase | Warranty for sold slaves undertaken by a third party and the buyer's promise to pay the purchase price. fA, of her own free will, sold 2 slaves to B for the full price (gamru) of 3 minas of silver and received (mahāru) the silver. The first slave, C1, is marked (uṣṣuru), has split ears (ša uznēšu li-tu-ut-x = letâtu, from letû)(*) and has a white (birth)mark (pūṣu) between/in (ina) his eyes; the second slave C2 is also marked. D guarantees against prior claims (uškûtu) related to these slaves. Names of 4 witnesses and the scribe. (*) CAD U/W, p. 288.
