Paraphrase Delivery and sale of onions
Concerns a total of (napharu) 2000 bundles (pītu) of onions belonging to A and originating from land labeled “from the mountain” (ina šadî), stretching from (ultu) the border of the field of the sailor C1 as far as the border of the field of the sailor C2, according to (ki) the preferential share (pūt zittu) of D1 and D2. A delivers (nadānu) these onions to B. Out of this 2000 bundles, a 100 were taken out (muššuru) because de facto they belong to E and another 100 were taken out because of bad quality (bīšu). The remainder (rēhu) of 1800 bundles A sells to B for 1 mina of silver per 660 bundles. The sale is prompted (aki) (lit. in accordance with) by the credit claim (rašûtu) of F1 and F2, the royal merchants (tamkār šarri) (against A). A bears the responsibility (pūt našû) for the safekeeping (maṣṣartu) and the good quality of the bundles till the 10th day of Nisan (I) by then B should have received the dates. Names of 2 witnesses, including F2 and the scribe.
