Archive description

The chief protagonist of this archive are Nabû-mušētiq-uddû/Nabû-ahu-ušebši/Iddin-Papsukkal (16 Nbn-5 Dar) and his sons Itti-Nabû-balāṭu (3 Dar-5 Dar) and Bēl-lēˀi (= Guzia) (30 Dar). It contains twenty-one tablets in London, Oxford and Berlin dated to 16 Nbn-30 Dar. The archive has a few property documents (but not for real estate) and family contracts.

The most distinctive dossier in the archive concerns bricks manufactured by or for Nabû-mušētiq-uddû with the Ezida or the household of the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Borsippa as their final destination. There are a few texts dealing with boats, but the rest of the archive consists of debt notes and receipts, mostly for silver, with Nabû-mušētiq-uddû (or one of his sons) as the debtors.
